Data stored locally

NoFab Guard stores self-control data in Chrome extension local storage, including blocked domains, URL keywords, allowlist exceptions, check-ins, pause events, urge intensity, slip records, block events, language, Safe Search settings, high-risk window settings, rescue plan text, accountability partner email, and Pro license status.

Data transmission

The free version does not send blocked domains, keywords, check-ins, urges, slips, rescue plan, or review insights to a remote server.

If you subscribe to Pro, payment is handled by Stripe. NoFab Guard does not process credit card numbers inside the extension.

If license validation is enabled, the extension sends your email address and license key to this server only to verify Pro access.

NoFab Guard does not read page body text. Domain and URL keyword blocking are based on the website address and Chrome declarativeNetRequest rules.

Data selling

NoFab Guard does not sell personal data.
